This month, HNMCS Robotics was able to make an appearance on an episode of FIRST Canada LIVE!. On November 9, Sally J ‘23 and Sofia A ‘23 joined FIRST Canada to discuss some initiatives that HNMCS Robotics has led over the past few years as well as the power of outreach. During the episode, Sofia began by highlighting the team’s mission statement, “FIRST Robotics promotes science and technology and Team 7659 embodies their vision by recognizing the importance of increasing awareness of STEM among today’s youth, especially for females.” Through the mention of various initiatives from STEM Day to Business Brunch, HNMCS Robotics was able to deliver a successful presentation on the importance of outreach to the FIRST Canada community.
